Senior Project Scheduler
TerraPower is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler that supports the planning, scheduling, cost tracking, status reporting, schedule analysis, project performance reporting and project baseline change control for projects at TerraPower. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate proficiency in working scheduling with primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Jira and Confluence software.
The Senior Project Scheduler will work closely with various project stakeholders including the project manager, project engineers, group and system leads, as well as other teams and/or individuals and stakeholders while supporting assigned project area. At the senior-most level, this role may serve as a recognized subject matter expert (SME) for Project Controls across TerraPower, providing guidance to multiple project teams and ensuring consistency in scheduling best practices. Additionally, the candidate must have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with a high volume of interruptions, develop and progress the schedule, integrate and validate teaming partners and subcontractor updates, follow-up on tasks and report schedule trends and metrics, and process project change notices into the control schedule. This role will be onsite three days per week at the Bellevue office.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain an integrated baseline lifecycle schedule in P6.
• Regularly update and provide weekly progress reports, layouts and publication of the master schedule.
• Identify and communicate variances from the original plan and weekly baseline snapshots.
• Evaluate project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas.
• Process project change notices into P6 baseline and live schedule monthly.
• Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of progress changes to schedule and recommend solutions to ensure baseline key milestones are achieved.
• Support P6 administration functions to ensure EPPM data, global code fields, baseline copies and data interface to other applications are maintained properly.
• Assist with the facilitation of project review meetings, and project planning support as assigned and actively interact with project team members.
• Assist and interact with team members to drive out continual improvement of schedule project controls metrics and other performance indicators.
• Utilize EVMS principles and other project management best practices while supporting project manager and team group leads in the execution of defined scope and deliverables.
• Contribute to monthly project status reports that track and communicate overall project work performance in terms of scope, schedule, budget and risk.
• Assist group leads and project manager in developing and maintaining the resource loaded master project schedule.
• Regularly update and provide progress reports, layouts and publication of the master schedule
• Support and manager MCRE project-specific processes and process improvements
Key Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent technical field preferred.
• PMP, PMI-SP or PSP AACE certificate is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 to 12 years of project scheduling experience, preferably including work in R&D, engineering and/or Department of Energy (DOE O 413.3B) projects.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6, EPPM and MSP application.
• Experience as a P6 Administrator
• Experience in MS Power BI Service, Oracle BI or other data analytics platforms.
• Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA a bonus.
• Experience with P6 Team Member a bonus.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills, creative thinker.
• Strong communication skills required.

Salary Range Level 11: $125,257 - $208,762
Salary Range Level 12: $169,922 - $235,464
*Typically, our employee salaries are within .90 1.0 of the mid-point of the posted salary bands. Any salary offered within the posted salary band is based on market data and commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications and experience. This range is specific to Washington State.
